About Jimmy Davis Music Jimmy Davis Music is a dynamic performing arts organization dedicated to inspiring creativity, building confidence, and strengthening community through accessible and inclusive arts education. Located in Avondale, Arizona, the studio offers a broad portfolio of programs, including private music lessons, early-childhood music programs, group theater and dance classes, community choirs, and after-school arts partnerships across the West Valley. Founded and led by longtime educator, arts advocate, and community leader Jimmy Davis, the organization is rooted in the belief that the arts heal, connect, and transform lives. The Arts & Culture Division aims to inspire creativity and curiosity in Surprise by supporting arts and culture experiences that are created with the community, accessible to the public and unique to the history, character and culture of Surprise. We envision a city where arts and culture are a core component of our unique identity, where residents feel empowered through creativity, inclusion and representation, and where artists and organizations can thrive in a healthy, supportive and vibrant arts and culture ecosystem.
